UNDER-COVERS FOR CARS

USE IN COMBINATION WITH OUR OUTDOOR CAR COVER FOR FULLY WATERPROOF.

Our polyester woven textile is 90% waterproof (and therefore breathable), according to testing to BSI standards. To all intents and purposes this would be 100% waterproof when stretched across a frame, for example an umbrella.
The cause of water ingress is wicking, which occurs when a fabric comes in to close contact with a smooth surface, for instance car bodywork.
Because of the breathability, this is a satisfactory condition for almost all circumstances, and certainly means that sweating will not occur.
If you want a higher level of waterproofing without losing breathability, we recommend using one of our under-covers, which will raise the waterproofing level to 99%.
